REIKI, WHAT TO EXPECT

The treatment is the use of Reiki energy to facilitate and promote the body’s natural healing and regeneration processes. It works on three levels, physical, emotional and spiritual. A Reiki treatment is simple and non-intrusive. It takes place laying fully clothed in a comfortable and safe environment. I will gently place my hands in a sequence of positions above the Chakra's (energy points) and hold them there for a few minutes channelling the Reiki energy. Sometimes my hands will be on your body, and sometimes just above your body. With Reiki your whole body is treated and not just an isolated area. It enables the Reiki energy to go to the source of the imbalance and does not just treat the symptoms.
You will feel a deep sense of relaxation and warmth or tingling under the position of my hands during channelling. Many people report seeing colours, and having wonderful experiences and insights. The experience you will have is very individual and will even vary from treatment to treatment. The amount of energy you receive will adjust automatically to suit your needs. As energy comes back into balance, stress and tension will be released and pain eased. You will sleep more soundly and feel more at peace. The treatment also has a mild de-toxifying effect.
REIKI TREATMENTS
Treatment time of at least one hour, plus 15 to 30 minutes before to explain what to expect and take client history and around 15 to 30 minutes after to de-brief and discuss events during the treatment.
